Ok, here is the thing, Google makes us work hard to get high PR because Google makes most of the money from Google ads, BUT here are some tips to improve web rank!

First of, make sure you spend time selecting keywords you can easily out rank. For example, if your site is PR 1 and you are selecting keywords where you re competing with PR 4 or 5, you will wait a while for your page to rank!

Try to optimize your page for many keywords not only the main once. Search engines will give you priority if you do that.

Make sure your main keyword appears once or twice in the title. If you have a secondary keyword, put both of them in the title. Don’t have any keyword more than twice.

There are many other factors that are important for onsite optimization. Two of the big ones are your header tags and your keyword density.

Use <h1> for your headers. In between them, make sure you mention your keyword at least once.

Use your keyword often in your text, but don’t make it sound weird to do so.

These two factors have an influence on Google, but not nearly to the same degree as before simply because people abused the system.

Get links from many different popular sites. Why not get links for you tube or twitter and so on? They like that you are active and they want to follow you and also you it will improve your page rank!

While you should concentrate on getting anchored text links with your main keywords, get few that are not. This way you are mixed in and not suspicions to Google!

And most importantly try to work on getting high PR links. People do not know how important it is to have links from HIGH pr websites. Those links will boost your rank a lot faster. The PR of one page will also effect other pages so one link will count for others in order to improve web rank.

And if getting links is a full time job for you, outsource link building service and you will save time, and it really will not cost you more than .16 cents per link.

Hi all, So I’ve been submitting my sites to some directories. I was told that this will help me get higher search engine results with any of my sites, including Bans. I could not believe the results. On one of my sites that was penalized by Google, two times (for who knows what reason, because it is happening on two domains I used before on something else). However, even with penalization, my site is actually getting around 2500 results a month. Some of course is the targeted traffic I sent to it, but the submission to directories has really paid off. It only costs .14 cents per submission, so 4 of my sites I submitted 50 times because I was testing the waters, but I just went back to submit more. I just love the results I am seeing. So I’ve been showing you all kinds of important things, but I forgot to mention how to add RSS feed to your blog! In this case I use feedburner.com to generate my RSS feed. I would go to burn a feed (normally yellow box) and input my blog address. Than Click next.

It gives you a window with the information on Title of your Blog and how your feed address will look like.  Than Click Activate Feed.  This will take you to the next window, and you should have a new RSS address.  Copy this link into your RSS feed on your webpage or a blog. On Squidoo, the place is in URL info. I also always select 5 for number of titles and 100 characters.

That is the easiest way I know how to add RSS feed to your blog. :)  Remember, I am not a techy person.

Hi there…I am getting close to connecting all the dot’s for you. So let’s make sure we are on the right track. The first is to get website up, hosted and designed. Second is to optimize website and add content to it. Third is to write articles to promote your site.
Fourth is to put up a blog. Each of these have to start with basics! Research of your niche
market and research of your keywords. If you don’t do any of this, the people won’t be able to find you! This is a simple fact no matter how hard you try to ignore it.

What are your articles about?  In your articles you are giving the information to people why that is helpful to them. In order for your articles to help you, you need to promote them! And this should be easy, since they are helping people. Don’t write sales letters. Just good quality info, optimized for your keywords.

Some of the places you can promote your articles are http://answers.yahoo.com/ http://yedda.com. The accounts are free, and you can promote your articles there. Get yourself familiar with these sites and if there are any unanswered questions you may want to test your skills at answering few questions. The goal is to answer questions honestly (in your niche market) to help people and if your article can help them lead them to your article or website.
