With a lot of projects that I am working on, I really have not had a lot of time for my affiliate niche store blog.  Having said this,  I just received a great e-mail from my friend Jamie Holt and thought I should post it for you. Just like me, he is a Wealthy Affiliate Member, and someone who’s opinion I value a lot. So here it goes…He has a great way to connect with people, and explain it in a natural text flow!

Today I just want to give you a little research guidance… so here goes… it’s a long one, but you could really benefit…so…

Here’s the thing… when doing research..it is VERY easy to get sidetracked and “wander” off around the net… you aren’t alone there…

So… before you start…you need to make some goals, write them down…and focus hard to get them…no matter how small…just write down your goals, and don’t let yourself wander until you achieve…

I will throw something out there…

No matter what niche you are looking at… you need to find a core specific, highly targeted desire or need which you can satisfy for them, in return for your commission..

NOW… what you want to do is home in on some real hungry wants, or desires…

Often when people are looking for something…e.g. Weight Loss… if they are typing in weight loss…there is a good chance that they are just hunting for information… so it is your main aim to catch the people looking to lose weight, but who are more desperate to lose weight..which will more times than not have burned into their core beliefs with an issue…

Like….

I hate having extra fat around my hips… How do I get rid of my love handles??…or….I hate having a fat face, How do I get rid of my double chin?…

Which means they are more than ready to actually get rid of them/it.. people looking for “lose weight” are only looking for information…not a direct, buy now solution… and we want people in the buy now solution stage of purchasing cycle…

Those that are worrying daily about their love handles/double chin…really have a burning desire to get rid of them…and what you want to do is put yourself in between that desire and the product in order to receive commission…

No selling, no hype…just pop yourself in the middle and the sales will come flooding…seriously…

So…. choose a market/niche…and then within that market/niche… you need to find the love handles/double chin…. and work with it…

If you have a market/niche… look for related forums and start digging for 5 potential desires like the double chin/love handles… and if it connects in your keyword tool with plenty of searches and low level competition…run with it…

Google:

Niche + forum…

or look around Yahoo answers

Or look what products are advertised in the niche magazines for your niche…

But most importantly… do it as much as you can, whenever you have the time for I.M…. but keep a LIST of goals!!!… and resolve within yourself to achieve them before you stop…

If you start out to look for 5 potential love handle/double chin type questions in your niche….then write that down as your goal and don’t quit until you get them…

When you have those 5 …have your next goal as finding well searched keywords relatin to those desires…(the best keyword tool ever is your brain, but cross reference it with the tools for guidance..the keyword tools are never, ever to be trusted 100%…)

If you can’t tally up some longtail keywords with a desire for the niche questions…

Then…wash, rinse, and repeat again until you do…

If a niche has an active forum…then chances are it is a good one to get stuck into

Make yourself responsible, hold yourself accountable…make a list

Is the software good, yes it is, but for people who are willing to work on it. The problem happen that many people just put up basic stores without constantly updating that store. Google likes new content, and they wanted that store to be user needed and not sales store. So too many lazy people just built a basic store and rushed of onto another one.

Due to some personal reasons I could not work for about 30-45 days, and few of my sites got de indexed. Since than, I have been purchasing some wordpress/bans templates to integrate my store and the wordpress blog. Great, loved it, but I realized that it is easier to have and eBay plug in, and the worpdress blog, than to go through all of this!

So that is why I no longer recommend the build a niche store software. Not because it does not work, it is just more effective to build one wordpress blog, install a plug in such as PHP eBay plug in, (side note, you can use the PHPBay plugin and get 10% Use coupon 5B8EB307C5 )and use caffeinated content for the unique content. This way it is more cost effective and so much faster to do!

After all, wordpress blog is free, plug in is cheaper than the build a niche store, and after you have caffeinated content plugin in, your store is going to be set up in literally few hours.

Again, I feel it is important to mention that Build a Niche Store works, but in my experience, it is so much easier to build wordpress site, since you can set it up to be automated. And the money is in the automation.

Now not everyone is familiar with caffeinated content plugin so here is the brief description. The plugin pulls a lot of data of YouTube such as videos and comments, as well as Yahoo answers (many different languages) and some articles directory. Yes, if you just post the identical text, it will be considered the duplicate content. Videos can be distribute and is not a duplicate content, but you should just use the information as a research re word it in your own words.

You can use this tool to create small free mini guides, write articles, get new niche ideas and so much more.
