Hi there…I am getting close to connecting all the dot’s for you. So let’s make sure we are on the right track. The first is to get website up, hosted and designed. Second is to optimize website and add content to it. Third is to write articles to promote your site.
Fourth is to put up a blog. Each of these have to start with basics! Research of your niche
market and research of your keywords. If you don’t do any of this, the people won’t be able to find you! This is a simple fact no matter how hard you try to ignore it.

What are your articles about?  In your articles you are giving the information to people why that is helpful to them. In order for your articles to help you, you need to promote them! And this should be easy, since they are helping people. Don’t write sales letters. Just good quality info, optimized for your keywords.

Some of the places you can promote your articles are http://answers.yahoo.com/ http://yedda.com. The accounts are free, and you can promote your articles there. Get yourself familiar with these sites and if there are any unanswered questions you may want to test your skills at answering few questions. The goal is to answer questions honestly (in your niche market) to help people and if your article can help them lead them to your article or website.

Hi all. I mentioned how I made almost every possible mistake with my first site. Even though I made a lot of mistakes, it still payed back for the cost of software. So I have put a video on what not to do with your build a niche store software.

The mistakes were:

• I did not narrow down my niche
• I did not select the right keywords
• I could have chosen better domain
• I could have optimized my site better
• I wrote unrelated articles

I am telling you this so you don’t make the same mistakes. I have also showed you some of the things I have been testing on few of my sites and it seems to be working great for me in terms of ranking high for my keywords.

The Squidoo is an article/blog type website. You can use it as a main website or as an referring reviewing site. For anyone who does not want to invest into Build a Niche Store software, this can be your alternative.

Squidoo VS. Build a Niche Store. With Squidoo, you will get more traffic probably at first, but less money, with build a niche store, you will get less traffic at first, but in a long run you will be making more profit. Also with Squidoo you will not know how much money you made and what made that sale, but I guarantee you will make money if you promote your squidoo lens.

I promise I will connect all the dots for you. There are all these steps you need to take, including making a blog about your sites. Just remember, try to stay with in the same niche so this way it is easier for you to promote.

When you build a site you have to promote it, but you have to do something else, you need to have a blog up and have it rank high with search engines. Blog will serve as your promotion as well. So besides the website, you have to advertise your blog. If you rank your blog high, that helps your site a lot too not just in rankings but also in getting more traffic.
Just remember, the blogs are actually social network sites, so you really do not want to be too commercial about this. It is not like usfreeads. This is more like giving people the information on something they need!

If your niche is in Family products, than you know you are talking to the parents. Why not make a lens (or a blog) with the top 10 popular products both parents and kids love?

I like squidoo because they share a little profit of their adsense. However, if you just want to have one blog, you can use wordpress.com or you can use wordpress.org to self host it (I prefer the second) It is all free. Actually this website is a wordpress blog. I have a lot of squidoo lenses as well. Because each link counts. Now you know I am not a techy person, and there is still a lot I don’t know on the technology side, but once you build a website once, or a blog once, you learn the basics, basics are enough to make you money.

Sorry I’ve been busy but I just finished the video on how to post your usfreeads. First off, you really have to learn how to use usfreeads to get the most out of traffic.  I like the fact that their posts get posted on the net and indexed within 24 hours.

Remember, you do not want to add too many back links at once. And usfreeads are no follow links, but still you should not add more then 3-5 per day even though, these won’t help your rankings as much in Google, but they will help your rankings in yahoo and MSN.  My rule of thumb is to have one keyword phrase linked from USFreeads, otherwise they will see it as a spam.  Lets say your main keywords are usfreeads review, usfreeads guide or usfreeads review. You will optimize your keyword phrases in the title and automatically in the link.  Make sure you mention your keyword phrase in the first paragraph of the text as well in the last.  And this will help you be and stay on the first page of Google for a while!

There are two things you need for your site. Traffic and link exposure!

The fun part begins.  The hardest part of your site is how to promote your website and here I will tell you how I do it with articles.  This is not an easy task and the same as as with you site, it requires a keyword research and optimization. My promotions so far are free or very inexpensive, as I continue to make money, I may outsource some of the work, but at this time, I am still doing everything manually.

I will write articles to promote my website and submit it to different article sites.  The one that is my favorite is ezinearticles.com.  At first it will take a little time to approve these, but after your 10th article, they will be approved within 24 hours and sometimes even faster than that.

Your website needs to have content on your pages, and that content needs to be promoted as well.  I told you, the fun part begins :).  This is a lot of work, but once set up, you will be making money in your sleep.

I also, promote my site with usfreeads.com and that is a paid service, but well worth its money because it is faster to write an ad than it is to write an article. I will talk more about usfreeads in my next post.

How many articles do you need to write per website?  The good number is about a 100.  I know, I know don’t freak out.  You remember, I told you it was going to take about 20 hours a week to do this.  This is where that 20 hours comes in.  Building that site is easy after you build your first one.

You need traffic to make sales.  The articles bring you traffic (if done right). And at the same time they bring you more back links.  You need back links to rank higher for your keywords.

Here is a lesson 5 that talks about articles and how to write them.  This is not something that is going to be done in 5 min.  At least around 20-30 min. per article.  So expect around 20 articles per week.

I have a little check list that I use before submitting my build a niche store website. And here I will give you the list from start to finish on what to do!

• Research the market
• Research the keywords
• Buy domain and change the server host
• Build a basic site
• Color your build a niche store site
• Design logo
• Keyword optimization
• Add Google Adsense and add more appropriate banners
• Add 5 articles
• Add privacy policy
• Upload your site to Google Webmaster tool and verify your site
• Add to Yahoo, Google and MSN
• Write at least 3 articles pointing to your site
• Add 5 usfreeads.com
• Add RSS feed (can be done later)

With all my sites, I normally wait few days for it to get indexed and than I continue to add my back links from article sites, usfreeads and any other website I can find that will allow me to add my link. The links need to be coming from relevant pages. And these links need to be one way links.

Once my build a niche store website is indexed, I continue to add more articles and usfreeads to it. Anywhere from 2-25 per week. Always having my anchored text link with my selected keywords for that website. You want to add your links slowly because Google will penalize you if you are adding 100 links per day!

The last step before publishing your website is to make sure you add 5 articles with at least 350 words in them. This is going to be your build a niche store website content and you will have to optimize your pages. The reason we do this is because Google likes when a website has a unique content on each site.

So each of your articles is going to be about your products. I suggest to write about something people would search for. XYZ product Review, Opinion about XYZ product etc. The key is to do your keyword research on this and chose keywords that have at least 30-50 searches per day. (Refer to keyword research videos).

Your main keyword that you selected need to be mentioned around 10 times through out your text. The two most important are the second or third sentence of your first paragraph, and one sentence, preferably the last one of your last paragraph.

In you build a niche store website pages, you need to input your title, main targeted keywords and description, but besides that, it is good to input your own information optimizing that page for those keywords. If you don’t understand why this is so important, I want to show you what this does.

The catche Google does, will show what your pages are optimized under. That is why it is so important. When your page is optimized right, it helps you rank high as well.

O.k. so at this time you should have signed up for the new eBay affiliate program and worked on setting up your store. If you have not done so you can color it with the color my bans tool. And here is a free software that can help you with designing a cool logo with foto flexer.

The important thing is to optimize your store as well. The lesson 4 talks about that. Each page needs to be optimized for different keywords. Now each of your page is going to need to have different keywords. (check the video in lesson 4) So if you site is about baby carrier, cheap baby bjorn carrier, cheap this baby carrier, discounted this baby carrier, etc.

Besides this you need to do few more things. You need to add privacy policy to your website and you need to add unique content to your site. All you have to do is write 5 reviews of 5 popular products you have on your website. Don’t worry about keywords optimization on the content. I will talk about that tomorrow. Just go ahead and write articles at least 350 word to 500 each. If you do not know what to write about, do a research on it. The best place to do so is to check the forums where people are discussing those products and sites such as Amazon feedback rating. See what people are saying about the product and in your own words write about it.

All of this I have learned at Wealthy Affiliates University and it works for me. I am able to get on the first Google page with a lot of my sites and for a lot of pages.
